During the COVID pandemic we are striving to keep all our clinics open,

however from time to time we are having to change opening hours especially on a Saturday at short notice.

Our out of hours provider will always be available if we are unable and their details are given when phoning your clinic.

Please be aware our staff are working extremely hard and very long shifts.  We appreciate your cooperation during this difficult time and will not tolerate any abuse to our staff members

Free cuddle clinics for puppies and kittens

Book your puppy or kitten in for their free cuddle clinic online or phone the practice.

What is a cuddle clinic?

A cuddle clinic is a free full nose to tail health check for your new puppy or kitten, with one of our veterinary nurses. (Pet cuddles are included free of charge!)

During the health check one of our vets will assess your puppy or kitten’s:

  • Heart rate
  • Ideal weight
  • Joints
  • General health
  • Dental health

Who should attend a cuddle clinic?

A cuddle clinic is available for all young puppies and kittens, aged between 8 and 14 weeks. A cuddle clinic works best for a puppy or kitten a few days after they have come home with you, ideally in between their first and second vaccinations.

Please note that this check is only for puppies or kittens without any health issues or concerns. For pets with any health concerns please book a regular consultation with one of our vets.

Why should you attend a cuddle clinic?

  • It’s a free health check for your new fur baby
  • It creates a positive association with the vets for your pet
  • It’s a chance for you to get to know us and to have your questions answered.
