Pet dental services: dental care for dogs, cats and rabbits

We recommend you should have your pet’s teeth examined by one of our team on a regular basis. As many conditions are progressive, early identification is important.

A full dental check is included free with our Complete Wellness Plan.

If necessary, this should be followed up with a professional dental clean. Our team will then remove the tartar above and below the gumline and polish them, just like a dentist does for our teeth.

If certain teeth are so severely affected they cannot be saved, extractions will be necessary. Pets are usually able to go home on the same day.

– Dental health checks £FREE

– Scale & polish £99

– Dental with extractions £199

For more information on caring for your pets, including tips on good pet dental care and how to clean your pet’s teeth, read our advice pages.

All prices are inclusive of VAT.

After leaving school I spent a year in the Falkland Islands working on a sheep farm of 18,000 sheep. Whilst there I also spent time working on Japanese and Taiwanese squid fishing boats stacking blocks of frozen squid for transport back to Asia.

What our clients say...

What clients have said about our vet practice, Roundhay:

"White Cross are fab vets! I joined them last year (after being unhappy with my last vets who I was with for over 10 years) and am really impressed with the service that we receive! All the staff are lovely and friendly and always very helpful. Very happy that I changed vets, and I'm sure my 3 cats would agree! :-). Thank you to all the staff."

- Catherine Aisthorpe

"Highly recommend White Cross Vets as with what had happened with my young black lab Summer who cut her paw on a piece of glass/metal in Gledhow Valley woods cutting straight through into her main artery and needing an emergency operation to stop the blood. She's getting her wound re bandaged today I think she's gonna be happy as she keeps looking at us to say what is this big Blue thing on my paw and why do I have to wear this big huge bucket on my head at bed time! Haha but all in all she see seems so much happier from when it had happened and back to her normal self wanting to play and excited (though we don't let her be just yet as she still healing). I would like to thank you for looking after her and making her comfortable at the vets, I'm very grateful that we got her to you before the worst happened. thanks again xxx"

- Mawn

"Fantastic vets and lovely friendly staff too. Got my young lab Summer in straight away after having a nasty cut to her paw. They operated straight away and no doubt in my mind saved her life. We are all be in their gratitude. Thank you so much white Cross!"

"I was recommended via my mum who take her cats here and they've always looked after them so well when they've been ill.
Our kitten has been looked after so well by the fantastic vet and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely the best vet I've been to and a very calm atmosphere. They genuinely seem to care and understand what your fluff ball means to you. I'd very much recommend going in and talking to them if you're not sure."
